Studio Theatre’s Fellows in Residence Program prepares early-career artists and administrators for a successful career in the arts. Offering a rigorous, hands-on training experience over the course of a full theatrical season, this program is designed to help early-career professionals transition into the workforce of the professional theatre. Fellows live together in a residence located approximately half a mile from the theatre. Throughout the year, Fellows participate in a series of professional development opportunities that include seminars, networking opportunities, and theatre-going.
The Program runs from July 23rd, 2024 through May 23rd, 2025 each year with positions available in:
• Artistic Producing
• Business
• Company Management
• Development
• Directing
• Electrics
• Marketing & Communications
• Production & Events Management
• Stage Management
• Sound & Projections
• Technical Direction
Compensation is equivalent to $17.50/hour for 40 hours a week, inclusive of the value of housing, which is provided. Weekly pay is $450 and housing is valued at $250 per week, totaling $700 per week in total taxable compensation. This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay after 40 hours, which is paid at time-and-a-half rate of $26.25. See website for more information regarding benefits and time off.
