The winner of eight Tony Awards, four Drama Desk Awards and four Olivier Awards, Spring Awakening was originally banned from stages all over the world because of its shocking portrayal of the teenage search for meaning in life and stormy struggle with budding sexuality. Directed by Jon Patrick Selover, Western Stage's production features Musical Director Don Dally, Choreography by Joe Niesen, Scenic Design by Theodore Michael Dolas, Light Design by Derek Duarte, Sound Design by Jeff Mockus and Costume Design by Rhonda Kirkpatrick, with Stage Manager Dani Maupin.
