BWW TV: ACT's ENDGAME- Performance Highlights! by BroadwayWorld TV(May. 15 1:40 PM) - American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) continues its 2011–12 season with ENDGAME and PLAY—two landmark one-act plays by modernist master Samuel Beckett, directed by A.C.T. artistic director Carey Perloff. ENDGAME—led by two-time Tony Award winner and A.C.T. associate artist Bill Irwin—charts a day in the life of the wheelchair-bound Hamm and his servant, Clov , who exist in a mutually dependent and fractious relationship with only Hamm’s ashbin-bound parents, Nagg and Nell, for company. This avant-garde play mixes comedy with tragedy to explore the human dilemma, mortality and God’s existence.

Part of Team Behind EMOTIONAL CREATURE, 6/14 - 7/15 by BWW News Desk(May. 15 12:32 PM) - Berkeley Repertory Theatre announced the cast and creative team for its world premiere of Eve Ensler’s EMOTIONAL CREATURE. This positive and propulsive new show – from the Tony Award-winning playwright, performer, and activist who created The Vagina Monologues – features a choreographer, a composer, four top designers, and an ensemble of talented young women. Directed by Obie Award-winner Jo Bonney, Emotional Creature plays only 36 performances in the Roda Theatre. The limited engagement at Berkeley Rep begins previews on June 14, opens June 22, and runs through July 15. The lead producers of this premiere are Wayne Jordan and Quinn Delaney, Marjorie Randolph, and Jack and Betty Schafer; the executive producer is the Strauch Kulhanjian Family.
