Lighting Technicians – Albany, NY - Tinc Productions

Tinc Productions, an event and theatrical production management company based in New York City, is seeking LIGHTING TECHNICIANS to be added to our work roster in Albany, NY.



Please Note:



-In-person interviews will take place May 7-10, 2024

General Duties:

• Ensure that safety procedures are being upheld across all departments and that our employees and non-employee staff maintain a positive and healthy working environment

• Keep all work environments organized and tidy.

• Represent Tinc’s Culture in all interactions.

• Contribute to the growth and development of Tinc Productions procedures, processes and systems.

• Ask questions when you are unsure.



Position Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:



• To be responsible for all theatre and stage lighting equipment, including installation, non-complex lighting design (where applicable) and operation, in various Performance and Corporate Venues

• Acting as Lighting Programmer and Operator General Electrician responsible for planning, installing and maintaining all house lighting rigs.

• Planning, installing, and operating as necessary all AV set ups.

• Having a client facing role while acting as a mentor and assisting in the realization of Internal and External events as required

• Set-up and operation of Audio-Visual Equipment

• Performing routine maintenance related to event and production spaces

• Work with fellow members of the Tinc Productions team in general rigging and housekeeping duties

• Other Duties as assigned





Wages and Benefits



This is a part time, non-exempt position with specific work rules. Hours are scheduled on an as needed basis with no set schedule or guarantees.



W2 Employees, all appropriate taxes withheld. Paid weekly on Fridays. Direct Deposit available.



Pay rate for Lighting Technician is $37.00 per hour



Eligible for Corporate Perks and Employee Assistance Program.
